What we collect, and why
When you use our contact form
We collect your first name, last name, email address and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to correspond with you about the work.
Submissions are sent to us by email. They are not stored in a database on this website.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to a business enquiry that you chose to send us.
When you simply browse the site
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of the request. These are used to keep the site secure and working, and to diagnose faults.

Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies for visitors who are not logged in, and we do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or any other third-party tracking.
If you log in to the website as an administrator, WordPress sets cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Hostinger — website hosting and server logs.
- Our email provider — receiving and storing enquiries sent through the contact form.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months from our last correspondence with you, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that they are deleted. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule, which is a short rolling period.
Where your information is held
Our hosting infrastructure is located within Europe. Where any personal information is transferred outside the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask for your information in a portable format.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
